The breakfast menu covers all the bases including four varieties of eggs Benedict -- we selected two of them: the Veggie Benedict and the Lox Benedict. 

The Veggie Benny layered spinach and tomato under a perfectly poached egg covered with a sundried tomato hollandaise. The english muffin was crisp and buttery accompanied by a cluster of well-seasoned pan-fries.

The Lox Benny swapped the tomato for "cold-smoked wild salmon" and was covered in traditional hollandaise. A nice touch when we asked for grilled tomato instead of pan-fries and there was no charge for the substitution and we received what looked like a whole tomato, sliced and grilled.

The coffee was drinkable (an average medium roast, not too weak) and refills offered without our having to flag the server down. While it wasn't too busy, there was only the one server to handle the tables and she did so well.

If you want to avoid the crowds, I'd suggest a weekday breakfast (they open at 7:30). Go later in the evening for live music every night -- no extra cover.
